About Us

Welcome to Mitza Creek Farm — a regenerative family farm nestled just south of Hayward, Wisconsin, off Highway 63. In 2016 we fell in love with an old farm: its beautiful barn and historic stone coop (built in the late 1800s) sparked our vision of a welcoming place where families can get away, slow down, and make memories.

Rooted in a love for the land and guided by permaculture-inspired, sustainable practices, we raise Dexter cattle, Navajo‑Churro sheep, pastured poultry, and honey bees to restore and enrich our soil. From that care come wholesome, pasture‑raised meats, raw honey, farm‑fresh eggs, and naturally processed wool products like roving, felting kits, and biodegradable wool pellets.

We’re also a seasonal destination for the community. Our Stone Coop Market is open mid‑August through Christmas — offering pumpkins, mums and gifts in the fall, and Christmas trees, wreaths, porch pots and locally crafted gifts from early November through the holidays (including a semi‑live nativity). Each May we host our annual plant sale on the Thursday–Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend. In 2025, we opened "The Patch," which has family friendly fall activities, including a corn pit, bouncy houses, games and more.

Whether you’re shopping online or visiting us in person, thank you for supporting small-scale, sustainable agriculture. We’re glad you’re here.
