Jalapeño HOT Pepper Plant

The Early Jalapeño Pepper is a great variety for Northern Gardeners. This variety reigns early, dark green to red in color. The peppers grow 2 ⅓-3 inches. Earlier but much lower yielding than later varieties. Small plants. Can be eaten raw, cooked, or pickled! These peppers are a wonderful ingredient to traditional guacamole or can be sautéed and added to fajitas! (60 days green/80 days red) 2,500-5,000 SHU.

Craig's Grande Jalapeño Pepper A delicious, fat, thick-walled, 4-5” jalapeño that is perfect for stuffing, making lots of salsa, drying, pickling and roasting. Mature, red Jalapeños register 3,500-8,000 Scoville units. Plants reach 24-36” tall. (70-75 Days green)
